Een van onze huidige stagiaires is April Dokpesi die overkwam uit Nigeria om onze Digital Storytelling Postgraduate aan KASK. April is een grafisch ontwerper/videomaker en wees erop dat Nigeria momenteel overloopt van jonge getalenteerde digitale creatieven. We zijn altijd nieuwsgierig naar wat er gaande is in andere delen van de wereld, dus vroegen we haar om 5 van de meest invloedrijke Nigeriaanse fotografen op Instagram te selecteren.

Meet Khaël Touag, a 30-year-old freelance director from Brussels, with whom we often collaborate at Chase Creative. He left his PhD in media studies to pursue a career in filmmaking. Khaël Touag was one of the first graduates of the REC Academy, the precursor to Chase's postgraduate program in Digital Storytelling at KASK School of Arts.

Nina Maat from Antwerp Circular is organizing Antwerp Fashion Exchange on March 31: Antwerp's clothing swap event. With this event, she wants to give many old clothes a new owner. This Environmental Sciences student is driven by fashion, ecology, and the circular economy, and hopes to share this passion through her organization Antwerp Circular.

Meet Yasmine Ibrehg, a young woman from Antwerp with Moroccan roots who blogs about beauty, fashion and body positivity. She calls herself curvy and loves her figure in any way she can!

Trudy Kazangu has a passion for photography because she believes images say much more than words. She has been part of the Chase team for a few years now, and with her interest in fashion and urban music, we can count on her for seasonal fashion updates and festival reports. 2019 is the year she wants to do well, everything.

Jennifer Kesteleyn has been working as a photographer at Chase since the summer of 2017. 2018 was the year Jennifer decided to work full time with her camera and focus on developing her own style and direction in photography.

Yaell has been working as a fashion and music journalist, in short an urban creator, at Chase since the summer of 2018. She is a self-proclaimed streetwear and sneaker expert, active on social media and in online magazines. She went to Paris Fashion Week on her own and has already interviewed artists such as Roy Woods and SMIB.

Nowadays, anyone can be a blogger. As long as you have internet access and a laptop, tablet, or even a smartphone, you're ready to go. This makes blogging a very accessible way to share your stories and interests with the world, but unfortunately, it also means your feed gets flooded with blogs.
