
Keeping the Festival Community Alive During a Pandemic
Monthly social media results showed that followers were dropping off earlier this year, partly because there was no clarity on whether the festival could take place. A festival without an audience, of course, doesn't last long. This made it crucial to maintain a certain level of excitement on social media despite the uncertainty inherent in this Covid year.

Chase developed a new strategy to keep loyal Bomboclat followers engaged. This was achieved through engaging community posts that tapped into current topics, positive emotions, and a sense of connection. Through this seamless shift in content strategy, Chase succeeded in keeping the community vibrant. Community management was central, and a considerable amount of adaptability was required.
Chase Stage and Young Talent
This summer, the festival was finally able to take place again. Chase Music was also back with a healthy dose of young talent. On one hand, there was young talent performing on our Chase Music Stage. The lineup included Eddy Ape, Ms. Angel, and Yung Mavu—three already well-established names in the Belgian hip-hop scene. They were accompanied by a host of DJs who gave their all to energize the audience. On the other hand, creative talent could be found both behind and in front of the stage. Volunteers, freelancers, interns, and the core Chase Music team were all busy capturing the event and ensuring everything ran smoothly. This resulted in a series of photos, Instagram Reels, live Instagram story coverage, and an aftermovie.
It Doesn't Stop After Summer
The collaboration between Chase and DO vzw, the organizers of Bomboclat, continues. On Tuesday, October 19, we held a social media management workshop at their office in Bruges. In addition, we are continuing to develop exciting collaborations in other areas. Keep an eye on the socials of DO vzw and Chase to stay updated on future projects!
